Join us prior to the July 6th performance of Swan Lake for an hour of fun and exploration at the Swan Lake Pre-Performance Workshop. Bring your children ages 4 through 12 for an exciting and informative introduction to the ballet, Swan Lake, before they see it on The Met stage. Working in age appropriate groups, children are invited to participate in activities directed by ABT Teaching Artists. As an introduction to the movement of ballet, the children are guided through a ballet warm-up and taught a short piece of choreography based on the dances they will see during the Swan Lake performance. There is no need for any prior dance background, as we welcome all to experience the joy of classical movement. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite dance clothes.
Each order must include at least one adult ticket purchase. Also, each child will receive a personalized packet at the start of the workshop. Names will appear on the packet as they are typed in the spaces below.
