Giving Tuesday
ABT’s dancers are at it again, but the challenge is to you! Make a Giving Tuesday gift and watch our dancers turn your donations into some of the hardest steps in the ballet repertoire. If we get 25 donations this Giving Tuesday, an ABT dancer will perform 25 continuous entrechat sixes (pronounced see-ses), a grueling series of jumps that call for intricate footwork. If we reach 50 donations, an ABT dancer will balance in an unassisted arabesque en pointe for an almost impossible 50 seconds. (Or more!) If we reach 100 donations, an ABT dancer will take on the ultimate challenge of doubling the infamous 32 fouetté turns from Swan Lake. That's 64 counts of consecutive turns on one leg!
